Riding alone today as everyone else decided to head to Nant y Arian on the way home, I was staying the extra night to miss all the bank holiday traffic trying to get out of Wales.
Tawr trail today as it was the only one that I hadn't done. It felt a bit chilly to start with so had 2 layers on but was soon down to one layer for the first climb.
I thought I was keeping quite a good pace on the climb til 2 people came past me like I was standing still, how some people do it I don't know.
There are some good decents on the Tawr trail but I did feel a bit disapointed at times when after climbing up on a fire road only to come back down by fire road.
Al will feel at home on this trail as there is a section called Al's Loop Im afraid it goes up hill though!
Riding alone I got round the trail quite quickly even with a puncture so after getting back to the centre I had a spot of lunch then done the MBR trail in the afternoon before heading back to the campsite.
